As a reseller, every day looks different. One day I’m sourcing inventory—digging through racks, sorting boxes, and hunting for brands my buyers love. The next day I’m packaging orders, running live auctions, answering messages, tracking shipments, and planning my next show. It’s fast-paced, exciting, and sometimes overwhelming—but I wouldn’t trade it.



The Behind-the-Scenes Most People Don’t See



What a lot of people don’t realize is how much work goes into reselling beyond the “buy low, sell high” idea. There’s time spent:


  • Building relationships with suppliers

  • Researching trends and brands

  • Pricing competitively while still turning a profit

  • Creating content and marketing shows

  • Managing shipping, returns, and customer service



Reselling is a business—and like any business, it takes hustle, patience, and smart decisions.



Why Live Selling Changed Everything



Live auctions completely transformed my business. Platforms like Whatnot and Poshmark allow me to connect with buyers in real time, show product details up close, and build genuine relationships with my community. My customers aren’t just buyers—they’re supporters who tune in, chat, laugh, and come back week after week.


Selling brands like Victoria’s Secret PINK, lingerie, band tees, and graphic tees in a live format creates energy you just can’t get from static listings.



Community Over Competition



One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that collaboration beats competition. Connecting with other resellers, sharing wins, learning from mistakes, and supporting each other makes this journey so much better. There’s room for all of us to succeed.
