Typical day of a posher

A Posher is someone who uses the popular e-commerce platform called Poshmark to buy and sell fashion items. As a Posher myself, I can attest that every day is an adventure in the world of online fashion. Here is a glimpse into a typical day of a Posher.

6:00 AM: Rise and Shine

The day of a Posher starts early, just like any other entrepreneur. We wake up at the crack of dawn to check our notifications, respond to messages, and plan out our day. Poshmark is a 24/7 marketplace, so there is always something happening.

7:00 AM: Time to Source

One of the most important tasks for a Posher is sourcing new inventory. This involves scouring thrift stores, garage sales, and discount racks for hidden gems. We also attend clothing swaps and network with other Posher friends to find unique and trendy items to add to our closets.

10:00 AM: Photoshoots

Once we have sourced our items, it's time to get them ready for the Poshmark platform. This means taking high-quality photos of each item and editing them to make them look appealing to potential buyers. We also measure and describe each item accurately to ensure a smooth transaction.

12:00 PM: Listing and Sharing

Poshmark is a social marketplace, which means that sharing and engaging with other users is essential. We spend a significant amount of time curating our closets, creating appealing listings, and sharing our items with our followers and Poshmark community.

2:00 PM: Customer Service

As with any business, customer service is crucial. We make sure to respond promptly to any questions or concerns from potential buyers. We also provide excellent service to our existing customers, ensuring that they have a positive experience buying from our closets.

4:00 PM: Packaging and Shipping

Once an item is sold, it's time to package it up and ship it off to its new owner. We take pride in carefully packaging each item with tissue paper and a handwritten thank you note. It's a small gesture, but it goes a long way in building a loyal customer base.

6:00 PM: Networking and Learning

Poshmark is not just about buying and selling; it's also a community. We spend time networking with other Posher friends, attending virtual Posh N Sips (meetups), and participating in webinars to learn about new trends and tips for growing our businesses.

8:00 PM: Relax and Refresh

After a long day of Poshing, it's essential to take some time to relax and recharge. This could mean catching up on some Netflix, reading a book, or practicing self-care. It's essential to maintain a healthy work-life balance, even as a Posher.

10:00 PM: Rinse and Repeat

As the day winds down, we check our notifications one last time, respond to any messages or offers, and plan for the next day. Poshmark is a never-ending cycle, and we are always thinking about new ways to improve our closets and grow our business.

Poshing is more than just a hobby; it's a passion and a way of life. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We are constantly learning, growing, and connecting with others in the Poshmark community, making it a truly unique and fulfilling experience.
